Sunrise
Place is a four luxury villa gated complex with twelve bedrooms and eight bathrooms. We are
ideally situated in an upscale residential area called “Atlantic Shores”.
We are
just below the South Coast Lighthouse on the Caribbean Ocean side of the
island. You are literally only
steps away from the ocean and many beautiful beaches, only 15 minutes away from
the airport and five minutes away from grocery shopping. The famous Oistins
Fish Market and restaurants, which has a must attend street party every Friday
and Saturday night, is also minutes away. Our facility has over 15,000 Italian Porcelain tiles with
9-foot spacious ceilings. Each
self-contained unit boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, over 1600
square feet, full balcony with glass railings and the two upper units has a spectacular view of the
ocean. The ground floor units walk out
to the forty-foot pool. Our waterfall in
the pool can be viewed clearly through our ten foot laminated
tinted blue green glass windows and aluminum doors from all units. Each unit
also has a 140 square foot open concept Italian granite kitchen with dishwasher,
stainless steel professional stoves, refrigerator and all the other equipment
for a well-stocked kitchen. Each
unit also has a washer and dryer. We have a 1500 square foot terrace on the roof
with a spectacular view of the coastline, which can only be accessed by two
Purple Heart staircases in the upper units.
Each
unit has a security TV video camera and pedestrian gate release button. Our
cameras have full night vision for added protection. Atlantic Shores has been
reputed to be a very safe neighborhood that you can walk around day or night and
is home to many diplomats, expatriates and influential local Barbadians.
Some
of the best windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing are literally steps away from
the front door of the property. Four beaches are all within walking
distance. There is Woman's beach for private unimpeded beauty away from the mainstream tourists,
Breakaway beach with white sands and a great place to launch a windsurfing board
and Silversands beach a few steps further to a white sand beach packed with
windsurfers, kite surfers and swimmers. Further east approximately 10
minutes by car is Long Beach which is the new hot spot for Kite surfing. No
beach in Barbados is private by law. Going west is the best choice for Boogie
boarding or just plain relaxing at the beach and only less than five minutes by
car or 15 minutes walk to Miami Beach. Miami Beach has white sands, lifeguards
and both very calm waters one side and waves on the other. You can have the best of both worlds.
This beach
is the best combination for a broad cross section of beach
activities for everyone. Durand
golf course is just 10 minutes away. If you want to play on a world class golf
course the Green monkey, designed and opened by Tiger Woods, is only a 30 minute
drive to the west coast. All bedrooms and living rooms are fully air-conditioned for your comfort. However if you don’t like air-conditioning you also have the option of 29 ceiling fans in the building with temperature controls. All remote controls are conveniently mounted on the wall of each bedroom for easy access. This also allows you to adjust the air-conditioning, fan and lights without getting out of bed.
There is nothing that compares to Sunrise Place in the South Coast and this property definitely ranks in the deluxe category of establishments in Barbados.
